An advance copy of the special publication will be distributed at the event. "I am honored to have been named a finalist for the Business Journal's 2006 Outstanding Women in Business award," said Vicki Steere, senior director of community relations, Jobing.com. "For more than two decades, I have been dedicated to developing the local workforce, building the work-readiness skills of the local job seeker population, and working with employers to foster better workplace environments. It was Jean Yancey, in whose honor this award is named, who impressed upon me the importance of developing a passion around my career and fully immersing myself in activities within my local community that will have far-reaching benefits. I took her advice to heart and have lived it every day throughout my career and, most noticeably, in my role at Jobing.com." "The Jobing.com team congratulates Vicki on being named a finalist for the Outstanding Women in Business award," said Aaron Matos, founder and CEO, Jobing.com. "Vicki exemplifies the highest degree of business excellence within the Denver metropolitan area. Her entrepreneurial spirit, passion and community focus have enabled her to make a significant impact on the individuals, companies and organizations she works with every day. She has flourished in her role at Jobing.com and has, without question, earned her place alongside the other exceptional women being honored." About Jobing.com |
