Profile: Associated General Contractors of America - Utah Chapter

The Associated General Contractors of Utah is an independent chapter of the AGC of America. It is an organization of qualified construction contractors and industry related companies dedicated to skill, integrity, and responsibility. The association provides a full range of services satisfying the needs and concerns of its members, thereby improving the quality of construction and protection of the public interest.

Membership has its privileges as the famous American Express ad says. This is also true of AGC. As an AGC member, you have the benefit of 85 plus years representing the interests of the construction industry. The AGC is the nation's largest and oldest commercial construction trade association, established in 1918 after a request by President Woodrow Wilson. Wilson recognized the construction industry's national importance and desired a partner with which the government could discuss and plan for the advancement OF the nation.Thus AGC of America was born which serves 100 local chapters nationwide. AGC of Utah has been fulfilling that mission and serving Utah Contractors, Specialty Contractors, Suppliers / Service Provider members since 1922.
