Enterprise Business Resiliency Planning Director

The Enterprise Business Resiliency Planning Director is responsible for managing and leading the corporate business resiliency planning division. The Director responcibilities include planning and developing corporate emergency preparedness/disaster recovery programs and ensure their effective operation.
Responsible for business strategies associated with emergency preparedness/disaster recovery functions.
Works closely with the business units, senior management on business resiliency plans. Implement, revises or creates policies, procedures and systems required to maintain and improve efficiency and meet government standards.
Oversees recovery systems, including data systems, data networks to ensure integrity and security.
Responsible for designing, developing and conducting drills and exercises. Determines need for emergency plans changes.
Coordinates with state and local emergency management authorities.
Prepare technical reports of analyzed data as needed.
May prepare area budget and monthly financial reports.
Responsible for hiring, training, performance evaluations and supervising staff.
Conducts long-term planning to determine future direction of the organization.
Interprets and recommends modifications to department or company policies and procedures.
Manages development and implementation of department projects through team members.
Errors in decisions normally result in failure to achieve critical goals and company objectives.
Skills / Requirements
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
8+ years of disaster recovery experience at both a technical and business level, Business resiliency planning, policies and procedures or other directly related experience.
Management experience required.
Certified Business Continuity Professional preferred. Motivational, budgeting and project management experience.
Requires an in-depth knowledge of business resiliency and disaster recovery planning, for both technical and business environments.
Expert knowledge of business resiliency plans, systems processes and procedures.
Must have strong project management, analysis, problem resolution and organizational skills.
In depth risk assessment and solution management skills.
Requires expert communications skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work with management, state and local emergency management authorities and bank staff as needed.
Must have solid leadership and mentoring skills.
Ability to plan, organize and direct disaster recovery testing.
Advanced knowledge of computer and various computer software.
