Per the Governor's "Working 4 Utah" initiative, beginning August 4, 2008 the schedule for this position will be 10 hour days Monday-Thursday. This is a pilot program and will be evaluated fall 2009; schedule subject to change.

The incumbent in this position develops and manages audit programs for the Utah Department of Health, and is responsible for...

internal auditing

directing and controling the internal audit functions

ensuring adequate internal and management controls exist and that the department operates according to laws

policies and procedures

supervising and directing a team of auditors.

A CPA and Post-Medicaid Payment experience is preferred but not required
