Job: Anesthesia Tech

Location: UT-Provo
Facility: Utah Valley Reg Med Cntr

This position provides assistance to the Anesthesia Department in preparing medications, stocking, ordering cleaning and maintaining equipment and supplies. Responsible for monitoring quality control and operating of equipment. Must develop and maintain a professional working relationship with Anesthesiologist, other technicians, secretary, nurses and other staff members. This position will be located at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.


Working shifts will be:

Position 1: 24 hours/week MWF 6:00am-2:30pm rotating weekends and some call are required. This position does include medical/dental benefits.

Position 2: 16 hours/week Tuesday and Thursday 6:00am -2:30pm rotating weekends and some call are required. No benefits are provided with this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have High School diploma, GED or equivalent
Must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written form
Ability to perform activities such as lift, stand, push, pull, bend, and twist for long periods of time
The individual must be computer literate and work well with others (interpersonal skills)


Preferred Items:

Previous work experience in the Operating Room or in Anesthesia
Work/volunteer experience in a health care environment
