Job: Echo Vascular Tech I

Location: UT-St George
Facility: Dixie Regional Med Center

This position is responsible to perform cardiac and vascular ultrasound, adult and pediatric examinations under the direction of a physician for identification of abnormalities leading to patient diagnosis. This position requires technical skills for adult resting echocardiography. Including comprehensive knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology and electrocardiography along with knowledge in physics and instrumentation of ultrasound system.

Satisfactory completion of a formal ultrasound technology program in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements to be registry eligible by RDCS/RCVT.
2-4 years experience adult echo experience in tertiary care setting preferred
Current CPR certification
Stress/TEE skills pass off
Working knowledge of clinical applications
Excellent communication skills
