Job: Financial Analyst - Primary Children%27s Medical Center

Location: UT-Salt Lake City

This position will provide analysis and reports to ensure sound financial operations Will perform specifically defined tasks related to several routine and non-routine/complex functions. Will work with financial systems such as Essbase, Strata, Charge Master, Costing and EDW to perform duties. May develop system applications using these tools. Prepares financial analysis, variance reports and ad hoc reports. Must understand how financial systems interrelate. May act as a technical resource to others. May have responsibility for coordinating and reviewing work of others. May perform lead or limited supervisory duties. Will be accountable for timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other business related field with 2 or more years of experience in financial analysis, data analysis or quantitative analysis, preferably in the areas of healthcare, finance


Must have outstanding quantitative skills and strong database skills


Must have excellent interpersonal skills, communications skills (both written and verbal) and a proven ability to work with all levels of management


Must be proficient in Exel and Access
