Job: IV Preauthorizations/ Reimbursement Specialist

Location: UT-Salt Lake City
Facility: Home Care
This position is responsible to ensure correct and timely reimbursement for the specified agency. The reimbursement staff member reviews appropriate documentation, i.e. medical records or changes, and ensures charting is inclusive and matches the billing record. This process is accomplished through the continuous audit of accounts and coordination of information.

High school graduate
Basic computer and typing skills
Excellent interpersonal communication and telephone skills
Attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Medical and insurance terminology
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Third-Party insurance requirements
Strong customer service skills
Good time management and organization skills

Preferred
IV infusion experience including terminology
