Job: Neuro Specialist RN/Circulator

The RN - Coordinator II provides clinical expertise and leadership to their shift and / or department. As a part of line management, this role will have significant leadership responsibilities, including several of the following: scheduling, maintenance of staff competencies, new employee selection / orientation, constructive discipline, and completion of annual employee performance reviews. The RN Coordinator II supports and enforces unit policies / procedures to ensure safe, efficient and effective patient care. Position will be located in the Operating Rooms working closely with Neurology.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

* Appropriate individual practice and delegation skills

* Bachelor's degree

* Two years of nursing clinical experience

* Demonstrated leadership abilities and clinical expertise

* Demonstrated mentoring ability

* Demonstrated computer skills

License / Certification:

* Current & applicable RN Nursing License for the location(s) in which the nurse practices

* BLS / CPR

* Unit Specific Certification as required (i.e., ACLS, PALS Certification, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Prefer Bachelor's degree to be in Nursing

* Two years of previous supervisory experience within a Nurse clinical setting

Two years nursing experience in the Operating Rooms

Certified Nurse in the Operating Rooms
