Job: Patient Care Tech - Rapid Treatment Unit - PRN

This Patient Care Tech (PCT) position will work PRN Nights. The PCT practices within the scope of the State of Utah Certified Nurse Assistant Certification. The PCT works under the direction of a Registered Nurse or delegated by Licensed Practical Nurse in the clinical setting and performs basic patient care and related activities as delegated appropriately. The PCT in this position will provide patient care, including obtaining vital signs, measuring and recording intake and output, and assist the RN as needed. This position will also be responsible for some clerking and billing responsibilities.


This is a non-benefits eligible position working variable shifts.

This position requires Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Certification with one year previous CNA experience, or current enrollment in a nursing school program with completion of first semester of clinicals. Also requires, High School diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English.
