Job: Registered Nurse - Care Coordinator - Utilization Review - PRN

Location: UT-Park City
Facility: Park City Medical Cntr

The Care coordination and Utilization Review RN works closely with patient account services, health information services, clinical personnel and health care providers to coordinate clinical process outcomes, patient type determination, insurance pre-authorization, coding and abstracting processes to ensure payment for services provided. Prepares appeals upon receipt of denials to negotiate reimbursement for services provided. Also, works closely with the care management team in coordinating and optimizing hospital and community based patient care services.


The Park City Medical Center will be a convenient resource for local healthcare needs and for stabilizing patients who require transport to Salt Lake City for more critical care.

Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah or license eligible.

Three years of RN clinical hospital experience required.



CPR certification (Health Care Provider) required.


One year RN Care Coordination/management and Utilization review experience required.

Must be flexible and have the ability to take call.
