Job: Registered Nurse - Special Care Nursery - LDS Hospital - Part-time

The Special Care Nursery provides the excitement of a Newborn ICU in a smaller, less acute setting. We provide family-centered care which teaches parents how to care for their infant in a non-threatening environment. The nurse gains experience in the Admit role by attending routine deliveries and assessing babies in the well nursery. Our staff nurses take care of babies with a wide range of needs such as those associated with premature birth, meconium aspiration, sepsis, and hyperbilirubinemia. Daily our nurses work as a team with Pediatricians, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Respiratory Therapists, and many other health professionals in directing the care of our little patients. Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse which allows you to practice in the state of Utah, or be license eligible.

CPR card required.

1 + years RN experience preferred.

New graduates must have completed an extended preceptorship or capstone in a level 2 or 3 nursery.

RN experience in a Level II A or B nursery setting highly preferred.

New Graduates must be currently enrolled or have completed the UCR new grad residency program.
