Intermountain Healthcare is taking steps to be prepared for an influenza pandemic. Novel H1N1 virus has been identified by the World Health Organization to be a pandemic flu effecting the world wide community. Within the United States H1N1 has been identified in all 50 states in varying degrees of severity.


By making advance preparations, we hope to lessen the impact of a pandemic, and make a difference in peoples' lives.


If you are a Registered Nurse, we need you! As part of our preparation, we are hoping to identify Registered Nurses who would be available and willing to help us with the influx of patient volumes that may occur. Applying for this informational posting would add your name to the list of Registered Nurses who could help. If such a pandemic occurs, you may be called on to help us manage the event. Doing so would require an initial fast track orientation to help you be successful and knowledgeable as you begin your work with us.
