Job: Research Staff - Hyperbaric Medicine

Location: UT-Salt Lake City
Facility: LDS Hospital


The incumbent will provide quality clinical patient care to research protocol patients. This individual will work independently, assuming responsibility for coordinating the efforts of several trials at any one time. The incumbent will be responsible for the enrollment, monitoring, compliance, and study billing for their designated trials.


Dimension
This position reports to the study principle investigators and the hyperbaric department clinical coordinator. This individual must work closely with the research team and have
exceptional communication skills with patients and their coworkers. The research associate will be responsible for reporting to physicians or APC's on issues relating to their study patients. It is essential to note that this position is funded solely from outside sources. The LDS Hospital or Intermountain Health Care will not be contributing to this position. The viability of this position may be dependent upon study workloads and outside funding. The research staff has a great deal of autonomy, and as such requires a great deal of personal management. Incumbent should have knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, FDA, HIPAA, and IRB regulations.

Bachelor's Degree required.

Two or more years of progressive research experience required.

Previous clinical trial experience preferred.
