Job: Respiratory Therapist - Park City Medical Center

This position is accountable for the coordination of Respiratory Care Services that are performed on the incumbent's respective shift and may include scheduling of workload, matching of needs with appropriate skilled practitioners, safety, troubleshooting and communication. This position is accountable for the provision of respiratory care under the direction of the physician's prescription and requires an advanced level of cognitive, decision making ability. Performs electrocardiographs (ECGs) for inpatient and outpatient services.


The Park City Medical Center will be a convenient resource for local healthcare needs and for stabilizing patients who require transport to Salt Lake City for more critical care.

Current license or license eligible as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Utah required. RRT registry preferred with a minimum of CRT required. Current CPR/BLS - Health Care Provider certification required. One year experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal relations skills. Current CPR/BLS - Health Care Provider certification required. PPD Placement/Reading Certification required within 6 months of hire. Pulmonary Function Technician Certification preferred. Certified to collect Arterial Blood Specimens preferred. Respiratory Therapist experience in an OB and Emergency Department (ED) setting preferred.
