Job: Surgical Tech - Surgical Services - Cluster Pool

Location: UT-Orem
Facility: Orem Community Hospital

This position performs various duties as a member of the surgical team to assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure that the operative procedure goes smoothly and quickly and that a safe surgical experience is provided for the patient. This position functions under the supervision of a Registered nurse and reports administratively to the Surgical Services Manager. A review of this description has excluded the marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. Minimum Requirements:

The incumbent must have a current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Must have successfully completed an accredited Surgical Tech program


Preferred Items:

National certification as a Surgical Tech
Previous Surgical Tech work experience
