Location: UT-Salt Lake City
Facility: LDS Hospital

Purpose This position is responsible for the operational leadership, strategic direction, and development and promotion of inpatient and outpatient Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care Services in the Urban Central Region. Collaboratively leads teams in both service lines in making decisions, planning, problem solving, and coordinating with other departments and services across the region. Particular focus on creating collaboration, synergy, and coordination between wound care and hyperbaric medicine services both at Intermountain Medical Center and LDS Hospital. Facilitates the removal of barriers that impede excellent customer service. Ensures team members are fully trained to respond to customers inquiries in accordance with Intermountain Healthcare/UCR policy and procedures and to consistently meet facility goals, maintain company values and meet the financial viability needs of Intermountain Healthcare. Works collaboratively with medical directors for both Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care. Key focus on the strategic planning, development, and promotion of Wound Care and Hyperbaric services in the region, including outreach to referring physicians, market and competitive assesments in the UCR, and participation and input by clinicans and physicians in both services. Supports and enhances the reputation of both services by continuing to facilitate research and best practice in hyperbaric medicine and wound therapy. Specific responsibility for management of inpatient and outpatient wound care services at LDS Hospital and Intermountain Medical Center. This includes day to day staffing, scheduling, budget development and performance, service/quality outcomes, strategic planning, business development, marketing and promotion, and outreach.

Skills / Requirements

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Allied Health or Business.

Masters Degree in Business or Health Care Management preferred.

Three to five years of leadership experience in an ambulatory health care setting.

Prior experience developing and maintaining budgets is preferred.

Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a team oriented environment.

Previous experience in budget development and management.

Working knowledge of spreadsheet formatting, manipulation and analysis.

Demonstrated ability to complete all physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
