Job: Child Development Teacher - Utah Valley Regional Medical Center

This position supports R-Kids which is a child development center for employees of Intermountain Healthcare and located on the campus of Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. The center serves an average of 90 children per day ranged in age from 6 weeks to 6 years and is open from 5:45 am - 6:45 pm Monday through Friday. The center is closed on weekends and major holidays.


The incumbent of this position will be responsible for the daily care and coordination of learning activities for children at R-Kids and will interact with them using approved early childhood education standards, developing and preparing lesson plans appropriate to age levels, participating in parent/teacher conferences, maintaining observation notes on child's developments and attending to the physical and emotional needs of each child.

Must have previous training and/or experience in early childhood education. Food Handler's permit required within 30 days of hire. American Red Cross certification required within 90 days of hire. Associate degree in Early Childhood Development preferred.
