Job: CNA / Patient Care Assistant - Medical/Oncology - Intermountain Medical Center

Intermountain Medical Center Medical / Oncology Unit consist of 32 beds, and approximately 75 staff members. We care for a full spectrum of medical patients including: Diabetes, Infectious diseases, Electrolyte illness, Urological complaints, Liver maladies along with various other medical problems.

The Certified Nurse Assistant practices within the scope of the State of Utah Certified Nurse Assistant Certification. The Certified Nurse Assistant works under the direction of a Registered Nurse or delegated by Licensed Practical Nurse in the clinical setting and performs basic patient care and related activities as delegated appropriately.


The Patient Care Assistant designates a nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited nursing school who has completed their first clinical rotation.

Requires current Utah Certified Nurse Assistant Certification or completion of first clinical rotation through an accredited nursing school.

The candidate is also required to have a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification for Health Care Provider.

Prior CNA experience preferred.

This Part time position requires the candidate to work a variable shift to include rotating weekends.

(Variable shift includes Day, Afternoon, and Night shifts).
