Job: Distribution Specialist

Location: UT-St George
Facility: Dixie Regional Med Center

This position is responsible for the day-to-day supply/equipment activities and inventory management. This includes meeting the supply, equipment, and instrument needs of clinicians & physicians. The position recognizes the importance of a safe & efficient environment for the patient.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Two years of healthcare related experience with Materials Management using automated systems is strongly preferred.
Requires knowledge of surgical supplies, equipment, and instruments.
This position requires physical activities such as climbing, stooping, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Excellent organization and prioritizing skills are required.
Must have strong communication skills both orally and written.
Must be computer literate and have some understanding of budgeting.
