Job: Pediatric RN - Children%27s Surgical Unit - Temporary PRN

This pediatric RN position is accountable for the provision of safe, efficient and therapeutically effective care on the Children's Surgical Unit. This 37 bed unit cares for children and infants with a wide variety of postoperative surgical needs, including: orthopedic, general surgery, urology, plastic surgery, craniofacial surgery and cardiothoracic surgery. The unit also cares for cardiology patients and patients that require telemetry monitoring. Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards.


This position is temporary during October--April. This position will be expected to float and will be first to be cancelled. Shifts will be variable, including weekends and holidays. This position is not benefits eligible.

Requires current Utah RN license and BLS.

Requires a minimum of 1-2 yrs of Pediatric RN experience


Prefer candidates with previous cardiac or telemetry experience. PALS preferred. Pediatric experience is a plus.
