Job: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room - Riverton Hospital - Part-time

This position is accountable for the provision of the best, safest, efficient and therapeutically effective care on the patients to which assigned. Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards.


The new Riverton Hospital houses a 21-bed Emergency Department which includes a 4 bed Observation Unit and 2 trauma beds. This unit is looking for the providers to provide the best care in the region. Riverton Hospital will be supported by Intermountain Healthcare's state-wide LifeFlight division.


Intermountain Healthcare's new Riverton Hospital is located at 3741 West 12600 South in the heart of the growing southwest Salt Lake Valley, serving the communities of South Jordan, Riverton, Herriman, and Bluffdale.

Set to open this November, Riverton Hospital will be a full-service community hospital dedicated to high quality patient care in a welcoming and healing environment.

Riverton Hospital sits on 63 acres and will include a four-story hospital operated by Intermountain Healthcare, a three-story outpatient facility for Primary Children's Medical Center and a four-story physician office building that will house an InstaCare, KidsCare, retail pharmacy along with pediatric and obstetric and gynecology physician offices.

Utah Registered Nurse license, or license eligible is required.
CPR certification is required

ACLS is required.
Minimum of 1 year RN experience in an Emergency setting required.
