Maternity Nursing provides a unique way to practice nursing in a family friendly environment. Maternity nurses have the exciting opportunity to take care of both the mother and the well newborn. As a nurse caring for patients on the maternity unit you will be able to develop skills in assessing postpartum patients, assisting with breastfeeding, assessing normal newborns, managing post-surgical recovery patients, managing ante-partum care, and providing extensive patient teaching. Maternity nurses are invited daily to participate in the exciting and intimate beginnings to new lives! Skills / Requirements

Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse which allows you to practice in the state of Utah, or be license eligible.

1 + years RN experience preferred.

RN experience in mother/baby environment preferred.

CPR certification (Health Care Provider) is required.

Must be flexible to work evening/night shifts and rotating weekends.

New graduates (less than one year RN experience), must be enrolled or have completed the Urban Central Region RN Grad Residency Program before being considered for this position.
