This position is for a clinical care provider with responsibility for critical respiratory care life support, specialized and routine respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients in the critical care and clinical units. This position practices in the following areas: general patient care areas and adult intensive care unit (thoracic and shock trauma). This position participates in one of the following quality improvement activities: policy/procedure, quality assurance, regulatory, education, staffing/scheduling, and bronchodilator team. As someone who has the responsibility for the assessment, treatment, or care of patients, this employee demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide are appropriate to the adolescent and geriatric age group.

Current license or license eligible as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Utah required. RRT registry preferred. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal relations skills. Current CPR/BLS - Health Care Provider certification required.
