Job: Security Officer - On Call

Location: UT-Provo
Facility: Utah Valley Reg Med Cntr
This position is responsible for the enforcement of hospital safety and security policies, assisting the public in making visits both safe and comfortable as well as to protect the property, patients, and employees of Intermountain Health Care. This is an on-call position with variable shifts days, afternoons, evenings and nights. It may require weekend work and holidays.

Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age.

Must have valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Must have excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills, both verbal and written.

The incumbent must be self-motivated,

The incumbant must also be able to think and act quickly and appropriately in volatile situations, as well as work well while under pressure.

Must have ability to lift heavy weights.

Preferred Requirements:

At least one year of industrial security, law enforcement experience

Or two years of related education preferred.
