Job: Clinical System Technical Analyst

Location: UT-West Valley City
Facility: Information Technology

The Clinical Systems Technical Analyst performs technical support, technical installations, maintenance, technical analysis, testing, and documentation for the maintenance of the enterprise Patient Progression applications. This position will provide second level support for Patient Progression applications. This support position will work rotating on call shifts during business hours and off business hours during the week, weekends, and holidays 365x24x7.

Clinical or technical Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a computer technology or clinical field. 4+ years related experience in a computer technology or clinical field. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills; ability to troubleshoot complex issues and articulate those issues to others; ability to document solutions and maintain the documentation; Able to take appropriate initiative for involvement in assigned projects from design through implementation; always looking for ways to continuously improve the process; Ability to learn new applications and platforms quickly; Consistently able to work with team members, other teams, and end users in a mutually respectful manner.

Preferred Skills

Familiar with medical terminology. Hands on clinical experience with clinical information systems. An Understanding of Intermountain Healthcares clinical applications is helpful (HELP, HELP2, Clinical Workstation, ECIS, etc.). Ability to troubleshoot and develop coordinated steps for problem solving a must.
