Alta View Hospital, located in Sandy, Utah offers a 24-suite labor and delivery unit, a 46-bed medical/surgical unit, a 4-bed intensive care unit, a 7-suite surgical center for inpatient, outpatient and endoscopic procedures, and a 17-room emergency department.


The Certified Nurse Assistant practices within the scope of the State of Utah Certified Nurse Assistant Certification. The Certified Nurse Assistant works under the direction of a Registered Nurse or delegated by Licensed Practical Nurse in the clinical setting and performs basic patient care and related activities as delegated appropriately.


The Patient Care Assistant designates a nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited nursing school who has completed their first clinical rotation.

Requires current Utah Certified Nurse Assistant Certification and/or completion of 1st clinical orientation from an accredited nursing program.

Requires CPR Certification designated Healthcare Provider.

Previous CA experience preferred.

Applicants who are in nursing school or planning to attend nursing school are preferred.

This a Full time, Variable shift position which includes rotating weekends.

(Variable shift includes Day, Afternoon and Night shifts).

This is a benefit eligible position.
