Location: UT-Salt Lake City
Facility: Primary Children%27s Med Responsible for the maintenance and appearance of assigned facility landscaping, grounds and structures. Ensures grounds and landscaped areas are safe, attractive and functional for the enhancement of our community image. The grounds team will lead the way in snow removal and participate in keeping the campus safe from structural and grounds related hazards that may come about. Skills / Requirements
Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED Work experience in landscape maintenance, including irrigation systems. Must be self-motivated with good follow through to help make the facility landscaping an attractive and comfortable place for patients, visitors and staff. Demonstrates ability of effective verbal and written communication. Must be able to bend, twist, push, pull, stand, climb ladders and lift more than 50 lbs on a regular basis. Experience using a skid steer machine (Bobcat) is required The ability to work outside in all weather conditions is required The incumbent must be willing to have a flexible schedule including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as conditions and needs dictate. Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of insecticides & herbicides and how to use them on turf, trees, and flowerbeds is preferred. Important Notes
