Job: Imaging Scheduler

Location: UT-Ogden
Facility: McKay-Dee Hospital Center

This position ensures the provision of quality Diagnostic Imaging Services to all individuals through friendly-enthusiastic customer service. Primary tasks and responsibilities include: greeting, reception, computer order documentation, entry and modification, responding to telephones, managing patient records, scheduling exams, and assisting the Diagnostice Imaging staff in related tasks. The Imaging Clerk coordinates communication between physicians, physician office staff, technologists and patients. This position provides courteous service to all customers in order to maintain a positive image of Intermountain Healthcare at this facility.

High school education or equivalent is required. Two years of customer service experience. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and has the ability to communicate orally and in writing. Proficiency in typing, word processing, electronic mail and ability to learn and maintain job specific computer skills necessary. Excellent organizational skills required. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Experience in a medical environment preferred.
