Jobing Description
Location: UT-Salt Lake City
Facility: Home Care To ensure proper documentation and verification of Home Health and Hospice patients. Enters patient information into Tandem and Horizon. Takes incoming/outgoing calls. Verifies insurance benefits and fills out cost estimate for patient. Assesses Medicare qualifications of patients. Communicates with Pharmacy to coordinate drug delivery. Coordinates home health nursing, therapy, and hospice services. Updates insurance changes and patient updates. Skills / Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills (Excel and Word) Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills. Ability to exercise courtesy, tact and sensitivity with team members and customers. Detail oriented. Exceptional phone skills. Previous customer service experience Flexibility with schedule to work variable shifts during the week PREFERRED: Physician Office, Patient Registration or Hospital experience (i.e HUC) Knowledge of Medicare regulations Reimbursement/Insurance experience Previous scheduling and/or Homecare experience Medical Terminology Important Notes
