Job: Nurse Manager III - Mom/Baby

Dixie Regional Medical Center has an immediate opening for a Nurse Manager in the Maternity Department where this hard working team provide "Extraordinary Care" to the patients they serve.This position is responsible for organizing, planning, directing and administering all operational activities for Mom/Baby Maternal Nursing Unit. This position oversees all patient care within the unit that is provided by numerous disciplines. The Nurse Manager is accountable for the leadership, resource allocation, and safe work environment necessary to promote nursing practice consistent with quality, cost-efficient patient care. The Nurse Manager oversees activities on a 24-hour basis.

Current State of Utah Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse.


4-5 plus years experience as a Registered Nurse. Experience in Women's Services preferred.


Experience in a Leadership role.


Bachelor's Degree required, Masters Degree preferred.


Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills and conflict resolution.


Ability to effectively manage and develop strategic planning.


Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other department managers, directors, administrators, physicians, employees, and patients.


Must complete Intermountain's Quality Facilitator Workshop or the ATP course within one year of accepting this leadership position.
