Job: Nurse Practitioner - Utah Valley Orthopedics

Location: UT-Provo
Facility: Medical Group Physicians
This position is responsible for the delivery of patient care to patients of a growing group practice that provides health care from pediatrics to geriatrics for all patient populations. The Advance Practice Nurse (APRN, NP) is a professional healthcare provider who: works to maintain and promote health, and prevent disease; establishes positive and productive patient relationships; demonstrates high professional standards; and supports appropriate financial outcomes through sound business practices The Advance Practice Nurse reports directly to her/his consulting physician and has performance accountabilities to the facility manager or designee. She/He works collaboratively within a designated practice to maintain a high level of quality, professional, and operational performance

Current Utah Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license with Prescriptive Practice is required. Nurse Practitioner experience is strongly preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and decision making skills.

Masters in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner
Current Utah Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License with Prescriptive Practice
Nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner (Specialty focus consistent with scope addendum approved by Physician Division Recruitment and Credentialing Committee)
Current Utah Controlled Substance License II through V5.
Current Federal DEA Certificate II through V6.
Current Basic Life Support Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification may be recommended for designated practice settings consistent with PDR&CC approved scope addendum.)
Current DOPL Consultation / Referral Plan endorsed by consulting physician
