Job: Pediatric RN - IV Team

The IV team at Primary Children's Medical Center offers the opportunity for education and orientation to become a venous expert. This small team of educated and experienced RN's and techs function in an independent role using a multi-disciplinary team approach with physicians, the sedation team, and bedside staff. The RN in this role will be accountable for the provision of safe, efficient and therapeutically effective care while performing a variety of venous skills including but not limited to: IV starts, PICC placement, trouble shooting infiltrations and extravasations, declotting and repairs of central lines. This team offers opportunities to become involved with hospital and corporate committee work if desired. Qualifications:


Requires current Utah RN licensure.


Requires at least 1 yr of RN experience


IV and PICC line experience preferred


BLS required


Must be able to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
