Job: Phlebotomist - Intermountain Medical Center - PRN

Location: UT-Murray
Facility: Intermountain Medical Center
Registers patients for laboratory procedures. Collects and prepares laboratory specimens for analysis. Distributes laboratory reports to clinicians.

This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent GED. Documentation required at time of hire.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have completed a phlebotomy training course or have 6 months phlebotomy experience.

A current "Health Care Provider" or "Professional Rescuer" CPR certification is required upon hire.

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.

Candidates with previous Intermountain Healthcare phlebotomy experience are preferred.

Must be willing to work flexible hours including days, evenings, over-nights, weekends, and holidays.

Note: Selected applicant that have completed less than 200 successful venipunctures and 25 successful capillary collections will be brought in at the training rate of %247.64/hr. After a successful training period the salary will be adjusted to %2410.65/hr.
