Job: Project / Business Analyst - SelectHealth

Location: UT-West Valley City
Facility: SelectHealth
Provides information technology development and analytical support to SelectHealth departments including system analysis, cost analysis and system design. Acts as primary liaison between business users and information technology. Will also be responsible for helping with the coordination of electronic enrollment file processing and support of Health Web for SelectHealth customers.

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience in Finance and / or data analysis in a business setting. Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a health insurance or health care setting including prior experience as a member of team supporting small or single scope projects. Advanced level experience with Windows applications including spreadsheet, word processing and database applications. Experience designing and running queries. Understands basic concepts of health care. Understands basic types of information used in a health care environment and how data are produced, consumed and transformed. Experience receiving files, working with FTP files, extracting files and data mapping desired. Skilled at bringing order to ideas and processes as well as communicating business concepts to technical and non-technical personnel. Proficient at solving complex problems. Demonstrated analytical, organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of SelectHealth products, services and operations preferred.
