Job: Registered Nurse - Staffing Resource Pool

Facility: Utah Valley Reg Med Cntr

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. This position will float in between departments throughout the entire hospital. Working shifts will be 6:00pm-6:00am with rotating weekends required.

· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

· Appropriate individual practice and delegation skills License / Certification:

· Current & applicable RN license for the location(s) in which the nurse practices

· BLS / CPR


The 2009 Urban South Region policy requires all RN grads to be hired through and successfully complete one of our RN Grad Residency Programs before being hired onto a unit, or have one year of previous RN experience.
