Job: Registered Nurse - Surgical/Trauma Nursing - Intermountain Medical Center

Surgical Trauma is a very unique unit that cares for a variety of patients. We care for all of the trauma patients that come into the hospital, either from the ER, OR, or Shock Trauma ICU. These patients are a very diverse population depending on what their trauma involves. We also care for all general surgical patients, including: GYN, general surgery, special GYN oncology surgery, jaw, plastic, and urology. This is a very dynamic, fast paced unit. This is a great place to get a little bit of everything in nursing and to obtain great nursing experience and skills. The RN position on this floor is accountable for the provision of safe, efficient and therapeutically effective care. Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards.

Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse which allows you to practice in the state of Utah, or be license eligible.


Must have BLS health care provider or higher CPR certification.


Must have a minimum of one year RN experience or membership in Urbab Central Region New-Grad Residency Program.


ICU experience preferred.


Must be willing to work varied shifts.
