Job: Registered Nurse Home Health

This is a PAY PER VISIT position (compensated at %2436.64 to %2442.75 per visit credit depending upon previous RN experience). Mileage reimbursement and shift differentails available.


The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of pediatric and adult patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.


At least twice daily, you must import and export patient files. This requires access to a phone line or commuting to an Intermountain facility.

Current drivers license, access to insured and reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record



Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing



Appropriate use of delegation skills



Current and applicable RN Nursing License for the location (s) in which you practice



BLS/CPR



Basic computer skills



Ability to work independently



Ability to transfer and position patients independently and safely



Ability to lift 30-45 pounds independently and over 45 pounds with assistance



Ability to squat and kneel



Ability to sustain vigorous activity such as CPR for at least 10 minutes

Ability to complete all physical job requirements related to job, with or without reasonable accommodation
PREFERRED:
One year of work experience as a RN.
Previous Home Health experience.
