Job: Registrar - Outpatient Registration - 6:45am - 3:00pm

Location: UT-Salt Lake City
Facility: Primary Children%27s Med

Primary Children's is looking for an outstanding individual to work with an outstanding group of individuals in the Outpatient Registration department. This position will provide quality service to all patients/customers through prompt and friendly check-in, timely organization of files and records, accurate scheduling, and effective registration for billing. The incumbent will be responsible for registering lab, surgery and radiology requisitions for multiple service lines and be cross-trained to work in multiple registration sites.

Required:

High school diploma/GED

Requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and follow work instructions and procedures.

Must have 1-2 years customer service experience.

Previous experience in a hospital or physician office preferred.

Must type 30 wpm.


Preferred:

Medical Terminology preferred.
