Jobing Description
Location: UT-Salt Lake City
Facility: Home Care

The Respiratory Assistant provides education of proper equipment use, with regard to home medical equipment and related supplies, under the direction of a respiratory therapist. This position will work in the Homecare office providing customer service and education over the phone. Performs a variety of technical and clerical duties that contribute to the delivery of quality patient care.

Skills / Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of customer service/relations experience.
Effective communication and telephone skills.
Basic understanding of medical terminology.
Organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
Work independently and be self-motivated.
Basic computer skills.



PREFERRED:
Previous Intermountain Homecare HME experience.

Previous experience setting up and operating medical equipment.
