Job: Respiratory Therapist - CRT - Department Intern Posting

Location: UT-Ogden
Facility: McKay-Dee Hospital Center

The purpose of this position is to provide entry level respiratory care to patients designed to diagnose, evaluate, treat, manage, and control deficiencies and/or abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system within the prescription of the ordering physician. The entry level practitioner performs routine respiratory care in accordance with skills and training that does not require an advanced level of cognitive, decision making ability.

Licensed by the State of Utah DPOL as a respiratory care practitioner. Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (CRT). Current CPR certification by the American Heart Association. Willingness and flexibility to work assigned shifts to meet pts. needs.

This position is available individuals who have completed internships in the Respiratory Therapy Department at McKay-Dee Hospital only. Selected candidates must obtain their CRT by January 1, 2010.
