Location: UT-West Valley City
Facility: Revenue Cycle Organization This position will be responsible for the implementation of an Intermountain Emergency Department project over the next several years which requires the analysis and training of employees who work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Responsibilities include working within specific service areas as assigned, managing the assessment, analysis, design, planning, training, implementation, and measurement of the project process design. This position will also assist in auditing previously implemented processes. The Analyst will interact with physicians, administrators, supervisors, staff and patients on a daily basis in the scoping, planning, design, communication, implementation, monitoring, and stabilization of a new process. Skills / Requirements
The incumbent should possess a bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in Patient Account Services, Finance, or Project Management and 1 year supervisory (people or project) experience. Demonstrated skill in problem assessment and resolution is required. Collaborative problem-solving in complex, interdisciplinary setting is required. The incumbent must have the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse staff population, possessing strong customer service skills, and demonstrate tact and sensitivity in stressful situations. A working knowledge of office machines, including personal computers, and an ability and willingness to learn new systems and programs is required. Experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs such as Word and Excel is required. Experience with flowchart and presentation programs such as Viseo and PowerPoint is preferred. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills are essential. Intermountain HIS and/or ADT experience in the Emergency Department is strongly preferred. This position will require travel to Intermountain Facilities as well as occasional support evenings, nights, and weekends. Important Notes
