Job: Senior Technology Analyst

Location: UT-West Valley City
Facility: SelectHealth

This position is responsible to ensure thorough, consistent, and timely reviews of the best available evidence to support development of SelectHealth's benefit policies, appeals decisions, individual case decisions, and other clinical decisions for which SelectHealth's clinical staff is responsible. These efforts support SelectHealth's overarching goal of only providing coverage/benefits for those medical interventions with proven benefits to its members and reasonable cost effectiveness to its payer groups.

Additionally, this position provides input, as requested, to a variety of SelectHealth and Intermountain Healthcare corporate entities to support decisions about medical interventions/technologies.

Master's degree in clinical, health related, methodological science or related field.
A minimum of 5 years clinical, analytical or equivalent experience is required.
Training in research design and statistics as well as substantial experience conducting research on and interpreting clinical information is necessary.
Substantial experience searching the Internet, clinical databases and maintaining web pages is also required.
Must have experience with computer systems including Excel, Folio, Adobe Acrobat and MS operating systems as well as familiarity with administrative databases and the construction of focused queries required.
Excellent writing, organizational and communication skills required.
