JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President of Sales and Operations is responsible for the overall coordination, the functional management and leadership of all of the sales activities, operations and business development. Primary duties and responsibilities:
•Takes responsibility for the successful management of the sales activities (primarily acquisition and penetration of new clients), operations (maintenance of existing clients, managing field employees, and other day-to-day operations), and business development in order to meet the objectives of the company’s overall business plans and strategies as defined by our CEO •Is a role model for the company culture •Is responsible for achieving the company’s financial goals, determined in coordination with our executive team •Establishes compensation, training, and sales incentive programs, in coordination with our executive team •Maintains key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base •Develops pricing policies, including volume discounts and terms and conditions for high-profile customers and channel partners •Takes responsibility for the successful management of day-to-day operations •Manages Regional Managers and trainer directly and offers leadership and counseling; manages Branch Managers and Sales Managers indirectly •Works closely with our Marketing Trainee in fine-tuning Marketing efforts (including promotional material); oversees and coordinates Trainee’s controlling tasks (i.e., top clients spreadsheets, dashboard, etc.); outsources additional tasks to Trainee •Plan and execute new market growth JOB REQUIREMENTS •Degree preferred •A minimum of five years business-to-business sales and management experience •Able to work collaboratively both as a team player and leader to accomplish major new initiatives •Strong people skills, high emotional intelligence, good communication skills and the ability to build and sustain productive teams •Able to communicate effectively and openly at all levels of the organization •Ability to understand and analyze financial statements Important Notes
