Overview: The Star Selling Ambassador position is a key component of the holiday store team that will drive top line sales through supporting the EIC process. It will maximize the efficiency of our selling floor processes through hourly positions that supplement the EIC process during the holiday season, allowing CIC and GSM to remain focused on coaching the associate. The Star Selling Ambassadors primary focus will be on key Family of Business areas. Key Accountabilities: Work in tandem with EIC at start of shift and attend the daily GSM turnover meetings to assess staffing, recovery and maintenance concerns in the store. Prepare an action plan for the day or evening. Ensure proper staffing of departments using the area walk report Flex customers to open registers when you see a line Manage change for registers and STIMS for Start Rewards Assist associates in resolving customer service issues, system overrides Ensure wrap stand supplies (bags and boxes) are maintained Manage selling floor maintenance, recovery; cash wrap stands and fitting rooms Skills Summary: Take pride in offering all customers outstanding service Exhibit good communication skills Takes global ownership and is a team player Takes pride in condition/cleanliness of selling floor High level of POS/Systems knowledge Macy's is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
