General Function:
Designs, develops, maintains, and supports software applications.
Required 8-10 years of experience with C#, WFC, SQL Prefer experience: WPF, Prism, ASP.NET, Unit Testing, TDD, Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture, MVVM, MVC and agile methodologies.
Reporting Function:
This position reports directly to an IT Software Development Supervisor.
Representative Activities and Accountabilities:
The specific job duties of this position are: 1. Be involved in all levels of software development, including requirements definition, specification, design, implementation, testing and integration, documentation, maintenance, and customer support. 2. Provide leadership in adherence to Client’s established software life cycle standards. 3. Provide leadership in the performance of source code reviews. 4. Perform technical writing duties related to the design and documentation of software applications 5. Perform quality assurance duties related to software products, including unit testing and system functionality testing. 6. Provide programming leadership and training to IT Software Programmer/Analysts and IT Software Programmers. 7. Participate in continuing education activities in order to improve development skills and provide leadership in keeping Client up-to-date on software development tools and other technological innovations that may be pertinent to the company’s development efforts and environments. 8. Provide direction to IT Software Programmer/Analysts in software design activities. 9. Maintain expertise in and define Client’s evolving software development tools and environments through collaboration with technical leads, project managers, and managers. 10. Provide leadership in promoting a positive, professional, and productive work environment among Client programmers.
